A taxing situation

All the car tax on the island seems to be due this month. The renewal system in our village (Peyia or Pegeia), is great: you simply call into the local bank with your log book and insurance and are given, once money has been exchanged, a new tax disc.

Simple!

As long as you can find your log book and insurance!

Cannot chat: have to go to the office (too) near the Police Station in Peyia and begin to turn our filing cabinets inside out to find out in which safe place I’ve filed the log books……

Wonder if I can blog from a cell? …………
