Carols and cake...

There was a good old singalong on Saturday at Hearns bookshop, just near the junction from Paphos to Coral Bay. Hot mulled wine, snacks and a singing quartet too! Wonderful!

The singing began as songs from the "old days". Many of the villa guests came to join in and it was quite difficult explaining to the Germans and the Russians, what "Mother Kellys Doorstep" was about - and why "All I want for Christmas is my two front teeth" was such a winner in its day!

Luckily, the wine softened the desire the sing traditional carols and soon the Germans were bopping away to the array of quite a strange set of songs, I have to say!

More carols in the centre of Peyia in the next few days too -= though I suspect Vanessa might just sit and sing anyway, with or without anyone to accompany her!
