like father like son ............

Its amazing how life goes in circles. I had to smile to myself today as I drove down through the village of Peyia past the Kafenes....preparing to wave to the regular collective of the old Cypriot men, who take coffee in the mornings and prepare to "observe" the daily life in the village from their seats by the roadside.

The same, sweet faces who smile every day at us, were joined today by the younger, grinning face of Stavros, our friend who owns The Mill Wine Bar in Peyia and Neptune apartments in Coral Bay.

Stavros is a gorgeous, handsome, smiley 40 year old whose father is one of the elders of the village of Peyia. I think that, today he was practising for his role for the future .........drinking coffee and commenting on life/politics and more pressing issues!
