Karen has arrived safely in Peyia. She got to her lovely villa around 10pm last night and I joined her for a few glasses of chilled white wine, to celebrate her arrival
This morning, Karen is here - as in HERE , in our house! We got up to find her sitting on one of our sunbeds, waiting for us to make breakfast.... (Tony is famous for his sausage butties).
Our dogs heard Karen arrive but, as they know her well and love her, they didn't fuss- just waited for us to open the door and let them rush out to greet her.
Tony got a bit of a shock. Having jumped out of bed starkers and going to make our morning cuppa, he spotted Karen who, luckily, didn't spot him! We were both worried that something had happened but she simply had had a great night watching the stars from her beautiful Peyia home and wanted to share breakfast with us, watching the rolling hills and coastline of this lovely part of the island where we live.
We just stopped short of opening champers to wash down the butties. After all, we've got departures and arrivals to do - the champers can chill, as can Karen and we'll pick this up later!
