A royal visit

Princess Karen arrives in Peyia tonight. She's not a real princess, except in the eyes of the family and friends who adore her but she should be!

She is coming to stay for the first time for 2 weeks in her new home in Peyia. Having only had the chance to spend a couple of nights there before going back to UK in the summer, Karen was quite magnificent in handing over the keys of this beautiful property to her inlaws, who have emigrated to Cyprus from South Africa and needed somewhere to stay temporarily , till they found their own place.

Life here being what it is, its taking time to sort out immigration and that has delayed the finding of a house - and Karen arrives this evening with her sister and sisters beloved, to spend time having a holiday in her Peyia home: where her inlaws are now living happily!

Sooooo, there will be a lot of adjustment and politeness methinks, while these two equally wonderful and regal ladies sort out who is doing what , where and when.......Mum in law is nervous but excited to see her adored daughter in law. Me? I love both of them but will stand WELL back and just keep a steady supply of GnT or cuppa tea ready for either or both of them.

Families, eh? Aren't we lucky to have them!!
