And the storm passed.....

At around 12.30 am today, we got a call from a friend in a local hotel, who'd been visited by the police and advised that a major storm was about to hit Peyia. The advice was to get home, make sure all of the animals were safely in the house and baton down the hatches........

So we did! But not without stopping at Philippos to get some supplies and let Islam and the team know they should bring in all the mags etc so they didn't blow away.

Then we waited. And waited and waited. Its now 4pm. The sun is in the heavens, the clouds have passed and there has been no rain nor sign of a tornado - except for the one I turned into running round the supermarket trying to sort out some shopping while panicking about the impending storm !

Well, at least its peaceful and there are other supermarkets I can go back to! (Wonder how long it took Islam to bring in the mag racks?!)
