The New Bakery

Peyia village has a generous supply of bakeries but the new one which has opened, is like the Mercedes of bakeries! It is such a wonderful place!

Making everything from cakes to pastries, onion bhajis to pizzas, I could happily spend every morning in there, trying whatever tasty bite had just come out of the ovens!

Its hard to be disciplined when you smell the fresh bread , view the cheese melting on hot scones - or see the cakes.........Tony and I have to take turns to go to the shops for lunch because if I went daily, I'd be the size of a large planet by now!

Still, buying and consuming the local produce is a good thing to do to help the economy so at least I'm doing my bit! am just going to put the kettle on and pop down to the bakery for a(nother) cake!
