Home sweet home

Karen and Wayne, very good friends of ours, are just boarding their flight home to Manchester, having spent two weeks here with us in Peyia. They should have spent the two weeks in their new villa but, life being what it is, the villa wasn't ready so they stayed here.

We've had a great two weeks, despite the ups and downs of building delays/problems with animals /difficulties in the office with very busy villas and deadlines to meet and visits by long lost cousins (which is a story for another day) - but its been great.

They are wonderful people and have helped us with the day to day life here by sharing the load on cooking/dog sitting/cat caring and shopping. I've loved it!

Think Karen would much rather have been in her own, beautiful new home and who could blame her. I wouldn't rather be anywhere but my home either - but I hope its felt like home here with us on our hillside in the lovely village of Peyia.
