Peyia Cyprus

Its a Grande village!

I've just dropped Therese and Kathryn off at the newest cafe/taverna in Peyia, The Grande. What a lovely place it is! Converted from an old stone house, this lovely courtyard is decorated well, with tables and chairs in a central courtyard, all lit by candles.

Serving food and drinks to locals and visitors alike, this is a lovely place to spend a few evenings when you are holidaying in Peyia village.

Of course, you can also walk to The Jail, which is just around the corner and is a great, established pub where you can chill and play snooker - or just people watch! Directly opposite The Jail, is La Frescoe, which is a deli and takeaway and offers a great service whereby you can pop over from The Jail, order food, nip back for a beer then George, the owner of the eaterie, pops back across the road with your choice of evening meal! Perfect.

Then again, we love The Mill! Very posh wine bar in the heart of the village - but maybe we just love Peyia! Wherever we are eating/drinking.

Come and see for yourself! Its the best village in Cyprus!
