WE ARE IN THE CUP FINAL!!

OHMIGOD! Peyia FC (apop kinyras peyia), are in the cup final! Cannot believe it! The team have been playing so very well - and now they are going to be rewarded by WINNING - we hope!

Last night, the streets of Peyia were filled with song, music and car horns: as soon as the whistle went on the match in Nicosia, mobile phones began to ring and the parties began and went on into the early hours. People came out into the streets, in the jimjams and danced and sang - and only the English complained about the noise!

This is SUCH a big thing for our gorgeous village: will let you know all the details, asap I know them eg date, time, team etc.
