kindness and compassion - Peyia style

Tony and I went to see Ani and Nicolas, the Peyia vets , yesterday, sure that we'd have to put Alfie out of his misery..............We were both torn apart and , despite my determination to do the best thing for our beloved dog, I was a wreck and just couldn't stop crying.

Ani and Nicolas were wonderful and assured us that Alfie, despite his age, health and having to have another operation on Thursday, was fighting to survive and that they'd help us all they could to make sure he got the best chance. So we're all at home again, one complete family and I'm so grateful I cannot find the words.....

Nicolas has just rung - to check that I am okay! He was sure Alfie was but he and Ani were so concerned, apparently, at the state I was in yesterday that they just wanted to know I was okay...... Course, I just cried again at their kindness.

There are angels out there . Some are just in disguise as wonderful people and Ani and Nicolas are two of them.
