Our furry valentine!

Its Valentines Day and the most loving present we could wish for, Tony and I have: Alfie, our precious eldest dog, has survived the surgery he had yesterday to remove a large cancer tumour and is safely home with us, as of this morning

He isn't out of the woods: after this, should the tumour return, we will have to do the kindest thing for him but today, he is back with us and his furry brothers and sister - and very happy to be so.

Dr Jake is carefully checking Alfie over and Nurse Molly (both Alfies doggy brother and sister), gently kisses Alfs face. Charlie cat, surgeon in charge, is ready to step in should anything happen - so all is well

Now just need to thank Ani and Nicolas, our wonderful Peyia vets, for their love and care - and patience as I understand many of our friends who love Alfie, also called on the vets yesterday to check Alfies progress! They must have been very glad to see Alf come home today!
