At last! We have the power!

The whole of the Peyia municipality has been without electricity today, from 5 am to 3pm. We are lucky: the essential work was due to continue into the night but luckily didn't - and even more luckily for Tony and friends of ours, the power came back on just as the Middlesbrough match kicked off!

Its very strange now having power: the whole village is quiet and still. I love it but Tony wasn't too keen. We went for a long walk in the rain then came home to "chat". My gorgeous husband was delighted to be saved the latter , by quick and excellent EAC engineers!

At least now I can cook Yorkshire puddings before I go to checkin holiday guests to villas in Coral Bay!
