Happy Easter and Kala Pasca!

Its Easter in the UK this weekend and in Cyprus, we celebrate Easter next weekend, with Easter Sunday falling on the 19th April.

As expats living here, we're celebrating both!

In Peyia, as in the whole of Cyprus, the village is being dressed up with enormous stone easter eggs and strangely shaped bunny rabbits. The Christmas lights are being adapted to become Easter messages - its all very pretty and very lovely. For anyone staying in the villas in Peyia for the first time, the village will look like something from fairyland: the Easter images are so childlike but so much fun, that its hard not to smile when you see them.

However you are spending Easter, we wish you a great one, surrounded by loving family and friends. From everyone here on this beautiful island, Kala Pasca!
