A Paphos Morning and Peyia Sunset

Using the "reward" theory, I promised Tony that if he was brave today when he went back to the hospital, I'd take him into Paphos for breakfast! Really, the treat was for me coz the morning was stunning: warm sunshine and crashing waves!
We chose one of the many street cafes on the waterside and had a coffee, people watching and enjoying watching the dance of the waves on the sea.....

Its rained a little this pm in Peyia but now, at just after 5pm, with a warmer day due to us tomorrow, the sky is gorgeous: quite cloudy with pink edged fluffy shapes sitting against the grey/orange mix as the sun sets at the end of another day in our paradise. Sitting in the warmth of our home in Peyia, looking across the hills and fields towards the coast, I cannot believe how lucky we are to be only minutes away from snow or seaside, Akamas Peninsular to small stone villages......Cyprus is surely one of the most beautiful islands in the world.
