Christmas in Peyia

What a beautiful morning we've woken up to, today. The air is a little cold but the skies are light blue flecked with a lilac pinkiness. Gorgeous!

The village was very sleepy yesterday with families and friends gathered at each others homes, enjoying their time and a hearty Christmas lunch

Our guests in holiday villas in Peyia and Coral Bay were either tucked up in their lovely villas or out at a local restaurant enjoying the festivities. One of these was offering on its menu, "fresh staffing with every turkey meal". Poor waiters. Hope they got paid for their brief appearance!

Alfie, Jake and Molly dogs have just finished off the veg and meat from yesterday - and loved it. Jake even wore the xmas antlers and "jingled" his way through his food. Dishes are done and we are going to have a very quiet and gentle day with a dog walk up the hill to try to shake off some excess before it all starts again later today
