Sunshine and tears

Its a beautiful day here in the lovely village of Peyia. The sun is in the heavens, the village is bright and shiny and there are smiles everywhere - except in our office!
I think I"m getting tired and emotional: everything is making me cry, especially the kindnesses we are receiving. For example, two wonderful people who work with us managing a complex, sent us an E card to wish us Merry Christmas and the words were so lovely, I cried. AJ and Jean came in to give us a hug and wish us well coz they are off to New Zealand to see their son , daughter in law and grand daughter - and I cried.
Someone has also eaten all of the chocolates which were delivered to us yesterday - and SAM cried!

Maybe its just that time of year? Am thinking of my family and friends , missing being with some of them and counting my blessings for living here in Peyia - and now am crying again!
No wonder I drink!!
