Lovely Peyia

Mary and I had a lovely day yesterday. I took the day off and met Mary and her lovely daughters, in The Mill, in Peyia. We enjoyed brunch, watching the locals come and go, then walked to see the church, the gardens and some of the other old buildings.

The afternoon was spent in a mix of dog walking (ie trekking up our very steep hill which overlooks the village), then simply sitting in the garden by the pool in our home in Peyia.

I don't see enough of Mary - and I'd stopped seeing Peyia as clearly as Mary did, due to being overly tired but yesterday, I fell in love with our village again and cherished my time with the girlies.

Somedays, life just feels good. Yesterday was definitely one of those days.....
