Feline honoured!

The animals and I had a night in last night. Tony went to the quiz in The Mill so we snuggled up and watched the TV. Heaven!

Halfway through one of the films, I noticed a new arrival on the settee: Gus, Charlies friend, the cat from next door, had come in through the window and had "joined the gang". Gus is an older cat and has a very serious expression. He doesn't often honour us with his attention, never mind presence, so I was very pleased he felt comfortable enough to sit with us.

Jake was asleep and snoring loudly, which was probably why Gus didn't feel threatened by Jake: the monster pup normally chases Gus just for fun - and Gus sits just far enough away from Jake to look at him with disdain but at a safe distance.

Gus has just joined Charlie this morning, for breakfast so I think he's either had a row with his parents and is staying out for a few days or Charlie has eaten everything in Gus' home, so Gus is getting his own back

Either way, Gus is very welcome in our gang!
