At the back of our villa in Peyia village, lie the hills up the the Pikni Forest and Kathikas road. From our bedroom window, I can look at the trees and shrubs which live happily on one of the magnificent hills. Colours change with the seasons and life continues to ebb and flow in the wildlife....

One thing which is constant , is the sound of the tinkling goat bells, from the herd who walk the hillside very early on a Sunday morning. Consisting of mainly white goats, the herd and slow, deliberate and musical in their journey behind our home.

Waking up to their orchestra, then listening to the church bells sounding, is the best wake up alarm a person could have!Sadly, once the church bell sounds, so do Molly, Alfie and Jake! They seem to think the bells are their prompt to "sing" loudly for their breakfast!

Off to checkin lucky guests to Vics Place in Peyia and check on those in the lovely villa Caliteri....
