Two lovely young girls

Tomorrow is the anniversary of Violettas death. She was only in her mid 20s when she was killed by a hit and run driver in Coral Bay.
On Sunday morning, Dorata, another beautiful young Polish girl, was killed nearby, while trying to get home from work on her scooter......

So many beautiful young people from many countries come here to work. Their lives here are hard but they work with heart and soul and we all love being part of the extending community with them, the locals and the many English who now call Peyia their home.

That many loose their lives here, accidentally, on the busying roads, is tragic and our hearts go out to their families , who are so far away and their friends here and in their homelands.

I always worry that they've felt alone and far from home and pray that they are "taken home" by someone who loves them. I also pray their families know there are many people here in Peyia who've met and cared for them too - and who miss them and mourn their loss.

Its a very sad world at the moment: thank god for families and friends, old and new - and thank god for the Cypriots who cry genuine tears when any life is taken.
