We won!!

Tony and I are just home after watching a fantastic football match played between our local team, Apop Kinyras Peyias and Omonia. Now we were definitely the underdogs: Omonia are THE biggest team on the islanda and were destined to "stuff us" (football term, sorry).
BUT:
- not only did we beat them 3-0 on Wednesday of last week when we first played them in this section of the league,
- we've just "stuffed" them again! 2-0!!

Gloating? Of course!! This local team of ours are wonderful! The support for them in and around Peyia, is immense and the area deserved the good news and excellent results from their team.

Tony loves the matches - and I love the atmosphere, so thats a win/win situation too. Only problem today was, it was SO cold that I had to wear gloves, scarves,(yes plural) and a coat to keep warm - now I need a brandy!

Then another one to celebrate too!
