Peyia village is set amongst the most beautiful rolling hills. From just West of Paphos town to the lovely and unspoilt area of the Akamas Peninsular, the hills continue majestically, colourfully and proud along the skyline as you look from the coast.
They hide many treasures: over 174 indigenous flowering shrubs/beautiful walks/gently grazing sheep and goats/colourful locals living in traditional village houses - and the best route to drive on, in my humble opinion, from Peyia to Polis or Latchi.
Quite literally, just over the hill behind our home in Peyia, lies the most stunning scenary I've ever seen. Hills and valleys, villages and vineyards, cottages and newer villas - all scattered leisurely within this treasured west island solace.
Some holidaymakers never leave their poolside or the beach. A few venture further to the old markets and port of Paphos . The cleverest go "over the hill" and have their breath stolen by the sheer beauty of this area..........
"The Hills Are Alive", doesn't cover it! Come and see for yourselves!
