Well, the chicken with the large bottom has been safely moved to her home; Mr Bush is still missing which is very sad indeed; the poppies are in full bloom on the hill, making me even more melancholy as they remind me of our precious Cloudy Cat (they bloomed as she set off on her heavenly journey) and the Easter preparations are in full swing.
The atmosphere in the village is electric. The biggest celebration of the year, Easter has begun with local school children gathering in the square and singing their little hearts out. Tourists have arrived to begin their sunshine holidays in villas and apartments in Peyia. We're preparing the lovely Vals Apartment in Peyia for an arrival early this week; guests have just checked into Villa Sulis in Coral Bay, Villa Lily Mays guests are due - there are too many to mention and its very exciting!
Jake has been "helping" the man who is painting our villa in Peyia, by stepping into the paint tray and walking the colour around the patio. He's also used his tail to help (the dog, not the man!)and Molly has been assisting, by rubbing herself along the newly peach coloured wall to settle this paint in- to her fur!
Today, its arrivals day and garden tidy up. Cannot let the villagers down for Easter, can we?
