Looking for Mr Bush

Tony and I had a lovely evening yesterday , with Martin and Paula who've just bought a beautiful apartment in Peyia and who joined us in Peyia Tavern for a real "local" meal.

We really love going to "Michaels" ,aka Peyia Tavern. Michael and his family are lovely and the food is great. One of the attractions for me, too, is seeing Mr Bush, the great big ginger feral cat who appears at the Taverna door each night to charm those dining, out of their food. He's a sweet animal: friendly and loves to be cuddled but very much his own animal.

I was very sad, when I asked Michael where Mr Bush was, to hear that they hadn't seen him for a few days.....No-one knows where he really lives but the locals around the tavernas and bars all know and love him

I'm praying that Mr Bush has simply taken a quick holiday, with friends on the hill, to get his strength up for the food fest which the holiday season will give him.

Actually, I'm just praying he's okay and , if he's poorly, is being loved and looked after by someone......
