The Language of the Bells in Peyia

No, I don't mean Tony (Bell ) and I! I mean the village bells in the centre of Peyia. Molly mou, Charlie cat and I are sitting in the lounge, looking down across the hillside and I've noted 3 different types of ring styles to the church bells in the past few hours.
Sadly, the first, slower and sad sound, is the one gathering family and friends to come and say their farewells at a village funeral. The one which has just sounded out, is one of celebration, for a wedding I think - but it sounds like the bells and singing and wishing everyone to dance.....
A little while ago, the bells rang out only a few times. They sounded "chirpy" and upbeat but were few in rings: I need to find out what they were for.
Tony thinks the priest wanted "A cup of coffee please" and was talking to his Mrs!
