Peyia Cyprus

Tony and I have been over the hills to Latchi, to walk by the harbour there and share coffee and cake with the many stray cats who live on the harbour and who steal fish from the tourists!

The drive back was incredible. Behind us, was a gathering of the most ferocious clouds, threatening a huge storm and seeming to chase us as we drove. To the left and right, we were steeped in fog: the type that makes you feel that any moment, it will open and reveal monsters! (or is that just me?)
In front of us, the hills opened to reveal Peyia and the sea - and the sun was shining across the bay and over the tops of the villas and apartments in Peyia. It looked beautiful and was in total contrast to the view behind us!

Happily now home, sat with the furry gang and cuppa in hand, I'm still enjoying the view to the bay from our house. Heaven on earth!
