Ah, the Christmas decorations came down today and how different the village centre looks! The buds are on the trees, the grass is green and everything previously hidden by lights, is looking new, fresh and alive.
With the sun hot for about 4 hours each day, Spring is definitely in the air, even though we are in our winter. The nights are cold but we're snuggled up in our villa in Peyia , with the fire blazing and the animals snoring happily by our sides.....

The village holds a promise of the joys of the year to come - smiling faces and a feeling of life beginning. Definitely a place to "stop and smell the roses".

With Easter here on the same dates as in the UK, why not come over and enjoy Peyia for yourself? The lights will be back wishing Happy Easter! And the locals are always happy to raise a glass or three to the visitors in their village!
