Its been a wonderful morning. Jake and I have walked the old village roads of Peyia, stamping in puddles and generally getting as muddy as humanly (and doggie!) possible. It was great fun!
The almond blossom is in full bloom, as are the wedding weeds on the hillside. The array of beautifully designed new villas and apartments, like Alyssas Apartment, are surrounded with colour and look really pretty.
I can never decide what exactly this area reminds me of: the Lake District, for the magnificent craggy hillsides or Italy, for the stylish feel it has; The North Coast of England, for the rolling cliffs and crashing waves .......its just a mix of everywhere lovely - and I'm so happy we live here.
Alfie, Molly and I have climbed our hill this afternoon too, then we sat on the rocks and looked at the coastline which we can see, from as far along as Paphos to St Georges - its beautiful!
I'm shattered now, as are the dogs so I'm going to sit on the "Thinking Step " in front of our villa and just enjoy the views a bit more- but without the effort of walking or climbing.
Come on- you really should be in Peyia!
