Sorry, I know it must get very boring hearing about the sunshine here but it is SO lovely this morning: as it was yesterday and the day before.....

On Christmas Day, I should have taken a leaf out of the book of the guests staying in Villa LilyMay. They BBQ'd their festive lunch - but we did all sit on The Thinking Step for a few bottles of champers before coming indoors to eat our Christmas meal.

Our neighbours on the hill have been BBQing constantly for the past few days. The hill smells alive with food, is filled with loving families and friends enjoying time together, goats strolling gently up through the rocks and the emerging wedding weeds.........lovely time of year!

Alfie needs to go to the vet, sadly but fingers and paws crossed, he'll be fine.
