Karen and Wayne arrived at 4am today , to their beautiful villa in the centre of Peyia village. The journey wasn't an easy one: delayed all day long at Manchester, not due to snow but due to technical problems with the plane then the standby crew going missing - so they were very pleased to get here!
They've just been to our home and told me a great story about Easyjet, who went out of their way yesterday to ensure the passengers were cared for and got here. When they couldn't use one of their own planes, due to the technical problem, they hired one in from Monarch, to make sure everyone got to where they were planning to go.
With the problems of the weather in the UK, over the past few days and Christmas Day only two sleeps away, I think Easyjet deserve a bouquet for trying hard to make things right. We don't say thanks enough - and this company came right! Good on them!
