Posh pavements and pretty Peyia

There has been so much work done on the roadways in our village of Peyia over the past few weeks. The place looks lovely!

On the corner, near the Mediterranean cafe, where Demitria entertains guests with her tall tales of village life and wonderful mosaic work, we have new pavements and a very pretty junction.

This morning, Santa Claus on his sleigh, pulled by two reindeers, has appeared. Tony reckons he's been stopped for speeding and made to wait at the junction. I think he is just admiring the area.....

Jordi, aged 4 and totally wonderful, goes to school here - and called to the office yesterday to tell me that Santa Claus had been brought to the school in a police car "coz he was naughty and took the little boys presents"......
