Its raining here again on our Peyia hillside. The colours of the skies and the sea, are beautiful. Even the hillside looks fresh and clean: the stones are shining a bright sandy colour and the abundance of wedding weeds are merrily dancing in the winds, almost seeming to be laughing at the storm which is gathering.

February is such a ruggedly pretty time of year here. The greens of the fields are true; waters look deep bluey grey and the clouds perfect white. The pink wedding weeds brighten up an almost sparse hillside which promises bright red poppies when the month draws to a close and the March comes upon us.

The sun is still fighting to get through and keeps sneaking onto the hillside, casting bright shafts of welcome light and making the whole place look magical......

I've tons to do today and have taken a day off to do it - but this is just too good to leave at the moment. Another coffee and another moment on my rocking chair watching the view, methinks.......
