A fire in the garden.....

The garden of our home in Peyia looks incredible today. The shrubs are all blossoming, the colours are amazing and the trees are reaching to the skies.

This morning, as a storm gathers out at sea, the light changed to a heavy shade of golden and the garden seemed to burst into flames as the sun caught the orange and pink flowers and "set light" to their appeal. It was totally magical.

The flowers and foliage here amaze me: despite intense sun for months on end, they are robust, keep returning a plethora of blossom and never cease to reward us with colours, texture and magical shapes.

Ably assisted by Molly, I've just been around the villa, cutting blooms and gathering green for the vases both inside and outside of our home. It all looks gorgeous and I just want to cuddle it!
