September skies at last

Even though it is still very hot, over 33 degrees most days, the breezes are beginning to bring the promise of slightly cooler weather and the skies are littered with soft clouds.

This morning, those clouds looked a little darker and gave out the hope of some rain but that has passed by now and the heat is wonderful : clear and dry.

I've just driven up the hill in Peyia and noted that the ground is changing to autumn. The wedding weeds are blowing tall in the breezes and giving the Peyia hills an almost ethereal feel. Its a very pretty time of year with welcming cool nights, so we can catch up on the sleep lost to extreme heat and snuggle down to watch some movies - if we can take our eyes off the magnificent sunsets.
