On Wednesday, our great friends Twosheds and Armani arrive here to stay in Peyia with us for a holiday. I cannot wait: not only will we have great company but we're also taking some time off so we can enjoy Peyia as much as they do.
I've got it all planned:
Twosheds and I are going to walk to the Mediterranean cafe and has a coffee, look at the mosaic museum then walk to the Mill for elevenses. Then beg a lift back up the hill, where we'll sit on the Thinking Step, drink more coffee and watch the world go by.
The next day we're going to beg a lift to The Grande,, sit in the stone courtyard and marvel at the still small bottoms of the grown men who run the place but who keep fit by dancing. If we are lucky, they'll dance for us. If they are unlucky, we'll dance for them....which is more than likely!
We'll also wander through the oldest part of the village and probably get pulled into a house or two for real coffee as opposed to the "coffee" we'll tell Armani and Tony we've been drinking......
etc etc etc
This is such a great village. I drive through it so many times a day and, over the next two weeks, am just going to chill out and smell the coffee!!
