One of the pleasures of living on the hill in Peyia, is to come home around 6ish and sit with a (large) GnT and watch the goats and their kids, pottering slowly up the hill, ringing their bells and enjoying their walk.
The dogs and I sit and watch. Molly barks now and again. Alfie grumbles and Jake just watches in amazement, trying to work out what sort of dogs these are and if he should eat them or play with them
Tonight, we were all sitting watching. The goats were right outside our house, walking around Tonys car and eating the cuttings from the garden which we'd thrown for them. All was going well until one of the large, probably male, "hormonal" goats , decided he was climbing onto our jetski , which is parked outside and was going to "ride it " down the hill.
The girlies he was trying to impress, weren't interested in the least, nor were the dogs but Andreas, the owner of these silly animals and I were in hysterics. "show off" continued for 10 mins then got bored , so went to eat more bushes.
I reckon he will sneak back up the hill tonight, jump on the jetski and make a bid for freedom!
