A strange cat cult?

I'm sure Charlie Cat "honorary dog" is trying to win his cat stripes back by joining in with the hill gang near us. They are a very tough bunch of mainly feral cats, whose size belies their daily fight for food - though, with the amount of souvla bbq'd by the neighbours, they are probably better fed than us!

Anyway, when I came home tonight, instead of my normal "purrrrr here's my mum" greeting from Charlie, he rushed past me, trying to hide a huge carob rat which was hanging from his mouth. I watched him rush down the hill, towards Big Black Cats favourite bush - and he hasn't been back since.

I'm picturing them all, dancing around this poor little corpse, with their left paw in the air and "singing" cat songs as they initiate my poor little brave Charlie into their gang. Little do they know that Charlie actually has his own gang of much better bred cats - and he's got two big dog brothers and a fierce doggy sister, so they'd better beware.

Course, Charlie also has two grannies - and trust me, neither should be messed with!!
