We are thanking our lucky stars that Nickolas , the vet who has moved into offices next to ours in Peyia, chose the village of Peyia - and the profession he is in.
He's nursed Alfie back to rude health over the past few months and, this morning, has saved our little Molly Mou, who was attacked and badly bitten by a much larger dog.
Taking the time to telephone to us a couple of times since we rushed Molly to him a few hours ago, he has just rung to say, relax, she;s strong and she'll be fine - just needs some treatment and to stay in for a few days.
He's dealing with a huge attitude in a little package: she's an angel of a dog with the heart of a lion and eyelashes to die for - and she knows how to use both.
I feel like my heart has been torn out this morning - thank god for Nickolas, Mollys strength and hope /strong coffee!
Mainly thank god for great people like Nickolas who care very much about what they are doing x
