It was just a normal evening in the Peyia household here: the wind was brewing up a storm - and brought with it hundreds of screaming bats who decided to fly only over our home and create a scary noise which drove the dogs, literally, batty!
Charlie cat appeared on the back wall, with a new friend: a pretty black and white younger cat, not quite kitten but very frightened all the same. Being a cat, he was also curious and watched as we fed and cuddled Charlie.
When we put Charlie back out, he shot in through the open window of "his" bedroom , followed by his friend. The pair of them snuggled up on one of the twin beds, I fed them and left them. Two minutes later, Charlie appeared at the open window of our lounge, which he can get to from the bedroom, looked over his shoulder as he jumped in to the lounge - the look said, "Come on, its all okay. Don't worry - they are my people"......and the new cat appeared at the window and sat and watched us. Its only a hop, skip and jump into the lounge - where Jake has sat waiting since last night!
We hope new cat moves in. He has had a sleepover with Charlie, so thats good BUT he must consider Jake, Monster Pup and how Jake likes to "kiss" cats as he rolls them in his (huge) mouth!
