Oh dear! Second Cypriot glass today and am now completely confused.
No, am vom condledli cov*us(not the mid letter) ed!
and thats a literal translation!!

So its easy:
- 24 letters in the alphabet
- few soundling like they look
- many sounding like something else which doesn't look like it either
- some sounding like I do after a few glasses of grassi! (no, not smoke - wine!).

Still, we are going to stick with it. Along with the other 12 dazed looking adults in the class! The teacher is about 8 years old and speaks great English eg "I want many wine" is one of her phrases - my kind of girl!

Its all worth it just to talk to some of our Cypriot villa owners who are getting very annoyed because we don't argue yet in their language! Take the property team at La Strata - please.....(sorry, different subject )....

Anyway, only 6.9 more days to learn the 3million different ways of pronounciation we got told tonight.
